About Fixed Until Broken:
For now, Fixed Until Broken is just me, Matt. No fancy team or anything like that. While Fixed Until Broken sounds like it might be a business or brand, it is just a hobby. Maybe one day, it will grow into a real business. For now, I work in the aerospace sector. I am a technician for a company that designs and manufactures AC-DC and DC-DC power supplies. Before that, I worked in a completely unrelated field of law enforcement in the military. When I left the military, I looked back and said I would instead like to do something I enjoy with my life. I have always done electronics as a hobby as far back as I can remember, and I have always enjoyed the thrill of repairing broken electronics. So I decided to start down this path. I had been doing the YouTube channel for about a year before I was out of the military. So I figured an educational background would help so I used my GI bill to take classes at the local state college. So that's all there is to know about my professional life.
About The Channel:
The YouTube channel features whatever piques my interest. I usually do automotive electronics, but I do random electronics projects. I take sponsored content occasionally, but it's not the channel's primary focus. Sometimes I do a product review, but only on things I think will be valuable and relevant to the YouTube channel and viewers. The goal and focus is to teach others about repair and electronics in general. I also like to raise awareness for topics like the right to repair on the channel.
